Do not leave anything on Glass Door under anything but an assumed, anonymous name. And you might leave details that can identify yourself to them.

I have been told by a headhunter paid to snoop that they can even see behind the wall supposedly protecting "private" posts on FaceBook and elsewhere, to see personal email and wall postings, likes, friends, things you would expect to stay private. They can be snooped with the right software.

Now if you aren't identified by name (like I am on FaceBook) I don't know how they can tell who it is. But try to focus on moving ahead and don't burn your bridges behind you. I don't know how much time you have in the working world. But your years in the working world may be many, if you're lucky.

IF you must post something, do it from someone else's identity, and don't indicate details which could identify yourself. Best yet, let lots of time go by. Write feverishly while angry, but don't send anything out until the anger passes.

I don't see how anyone can go behind and see who is doing the review. It says, current employee, or customer service represenative and state they are doing the review from. If you are going to leave negative feedback, then I wouldn't give recruiters an edge by leaving your full contact information. Companies should not be retaliating for employees leaving any feedback good or bad. How else is the company going to improve ?

They can track the IP address it was submitted from yes.

If you are too cowardly to use your real info, don't leave the review.
