Federal Job - If you get a conditional job offer, how long after security clearance do you get notified?

I did my interview and got a conditional job offer for a position. They had me do a physical (passed it) and did my security clearance. How long before I get told whether or not I get it?

Because its a federal job, the security clearence could take a slight bit of time. What job was this for? Congrats!

If you are getting security clearance and health check..there may be some kind of commitment needed. In this post 9/11 government, there may be papers you have to sign before getting any sort of security clearance. Read the fine print.
