So im 16...I haven't had a job yet so I don't know how it works. I don't want to take a lunch break during my job. Will I have to though?

They expect to pay you for a specific number of hours per day, and you have to take your breaks to make that number work out. If you're working all day, you'll probably want lunch. But if your shift is just a few hours, and you plan to eat before or after, then you can talk to your supervisor about it.

You have to yes. It is required by law for every 8 hours worked they must provide a lunch break (yes they Will make you take one) and after being on your feet that long you will want a break. Trust me.

Depending on how many hours your shift is, at 16 you might be REQUIRED to take a break. Some states have break requirements for adults also, over half don't.

Ask them! I suspect after a couple months, the new job won't be so new and then you will look forward to a break of any sort.

You get a break. You do what you want on it. Ask your supervisor. They will probably make you

yes.

it's a safety measure. refocusing the eyes on other tasks and the body on moving different muscles is good for you.
